"When setting it up, the shake test worked, but in practice it didn't work at all. Neither did placing the phone up to my ear. I tested with my phone unlocked and awake and asleep. I tested on a Moto G (3rd Gen/Android V6) and a OnePlus 3 (Android V8). I tried turning on notification and phone permissions (the only extra permissions I could find) and that caused the vibration to work when I shaked to answer a phone or put it up to my ear, but it didn't actually answer the phone. I was looking for a phone that my mom could answer easily. She gets confused by having to drag things around to the correct buttons and most of the time misses the call by the time she's figured it out."
